If you’re staying at the Inns of Aurora, you will have access to many complimentary activities on the resort including daily yoga, water activities (kayaks, paddle boards), wine tours, etc. They also have an incredible Spa. The Fingerlakes has many beautiful wineries (and breweries) on the lakes! Aurora Brewing is a fun place to hang out if you’re staying in town and Heart & Hands Winery is a good winery nearby as well.

Aurora is the birthplace of MacKenzie-Childs and the headquarters is located just up the road from the Inns. It’s a beautiful property where you can explore their gardens, take a tour of the facility, and (of course) shop!

Wells College Golf Course is a public course located right in Aurora. If you’re staying in Auburn, Highland Park Golf Club is just outside of town.

If you’re up for a little drive, Ithaca is about 35 minutes South of Aurora and is a fun town to explore with great breweries, restaurants, hiking, waterfalls, and a lot more!

Another nearby town (15 min. down the road from Auburn and about 35 min. from Aurora) is Skaneateles. Skaneateles has great little shops, restaurants, and is a very cute town right on the lake.
